Ecl-ips support West Mercia Police Business Crime Strategy Launch
Members of the Worcestershire Education Network, Ecl-ips, have been up to something exciting recently. The CCTV business have stated that they were extremely proud to have recently supported West Mercia Police with the launch of the Business Crime Strategy.
The purpose of the strategy is to get a range of people together, to minimise the impact of crime and keep North Worcestershire a safe place in which to do business – thereby contributing to the continued economic development of the area.
The programme was short, concise and lasted a couple of hours, but was of huge interest and value. The event began with an introduction from David Rischmiller, Rural and Business Crime Co-ordinator. There were also various other speakers throughout the evening, who took them through some exciting initiatives that are being implemented now. Detective Chief Inspector Sean Paly took the company through Business Cyber Crime and the enormity of the problem.
Ecl-ips thoroughly enjoyed the evening, sharing their wealth of knowledge about keeping your business safe through CCTV and Access Control Systems.
They set up a very simple collection of their cameras; the Mobotix camera welcomed everyone, demonstrating how recorded messages in CCTV systems can act as a deterrent and they also set up an Avigilon 3MP and Analogue Camera to show the true comparison and benefits of High Resolution cameras.
After being introduced to some of the Crime Co-ordinators in this area, they are now very excited to be able to start supporting them in their role and helping all local businesses stay safe through the Business Crime Strategy.
