The Midlands Air Ambulance has always been a charity close to the hearts of the Directors of Worcester based ISO Certification business ISO Quality Services Ltd.
On the 18th June, ISO Quality Services hosted their ‘15 in 2015’ event at Browns at the Quay which is set along the beautiful banks of the river Severn in the heart of Worcester.
The event was the perfect opportunity to celebrate with local businesses while raising money for the Midlands Air Ambulance by means of a raffle for the very worthwhile cause.
The Midlands Air Ambulance requires £6.5million each year just to stay operational and relies solely on the generosity of the public to be able to respond to over 2,000 missions every year.
A massive thank you goes to the local businesses who donated the prizes for the raffle which raised £800. ISO Quality Services Ltd then topped this up to £1000.
As a result of this, ISO Quality Services were invited to visit The Midlands Air Ambulance at Strensham Airbase, to take a look around, chat to the pilots and present the charity with the cheque.
“We were thrilled with the success of the event but to have raised so much money for a very important cause, we are understandably delighted”. – Jennifer Appleton, Operations Director.
