HTS AV’s work with Pates Grammar School featured in Tech & Learning UK
Due to advances in technology in the past decade, schools have been able to incorporate audio visual technology within the classroom and learning environment and keep up with the modern world we live in today.
As technology has developed, children now have access to their own devices and it is when these devices are brought into a school that technical issues can arise. When multiple devices are brought into a school, it can severely affect how the audio visual technology within the school performs; this was the case at the Pates Grammar School, Cheltenham.
Pates Grammar School had been experiencing severe interference in their refectory as a result of 21st century students and their multiple devices accessing the data network. This interference meant that the school became unable to display any information on certain projector screens, leaving them unable to communicate messages with their students and visitors. After having previously worked with HTS AV and being impressed with the service they provided, the school contacted them in order to solve this interference issue.
HTS AV provided the school with guidance and suggested they change their system. Before installing the system HTS AV carried out a test run, to ensure that the equipment would meet the school’s performance needs and then installed the new system. All of this work was carried out in the space of just one day and HTS AV made no disruption to the school’s running or to the students.
This is just one example that displays the level of knowledge our members have within their specific field of work and it is this knowledge that enables us, as a network of businesses, to help schools with any issue they may come across and meet their every need.
