Trio teams up to seal firm’s future
Three business leaders have come together to create a mutually beneficial strategic alliance. In a move announced only a few months ago Tony Bennett, Aaron Kernaghan and Simon Williams acquired the renowned audio firm Coomber in a deal designed to revitalise the 100 year old business. Coomber has joined forces with the technology company ecl-lips founded by Mr Kernaghan and with Arrivista, the business coaching and training firm founded by Mr Williams. While the independence and autonomy of the three companies will remain unaffected, the objective of the business alliance is to develop common strategic directions and to take advantage of the newly created synergies.
With a new vision for the future, Coomber is set for a rebirth. The management team plans to keep the strong foothold in its traditional market for educational audio equipment with innovative products in the pipeline. A brand new range of sound amplifiers was launched last month and exciting new classroom solutions are due to be revealed soon.
Expanding the business into different markets is an equally exciting prospect for the new Directorate. The benefit of having a consortium of businesses behind Coomber is making it easier for the company to take on challenges such as new products for corporate customers or venturing into the live scene with audio solutions for top DJs. In part, this is made possible because of the synergies created in areas such as Planning, Systemised Marketing, Team & Leadership Skills and Sales. The consistent approach to best practices among the three businesses has streamlined these processes, while bigger economies of scale are projected in the future with the IT services, legal services, insurance and many more being shared between them.
In terms of career opportunities all 3 businesses are looking for individuals with the right positive attitude, a desire to learn and grow as part of a successful team.
